Please note, a move can only be facilitated if a vacancy in that area or department becomes available when you are active on the Internal Transfer Scheme. Please contact individual wards/ departments directly to enquire today.
When can I apply?
The scheme is open now and remain open continually. Please speak to your Line Manger & Matron to begin the Internal Transfer Scheme Process. The application process is completed together with your current Matron.
How can I apply?
It is simple:
Step 1- Complete the Internal Transfer Application form in collaboration with your Current Matron.
Step 2: If you have met the eligibility criteria, and there is a vacancy in the department or ward that you would like to move to, then a transfer meeting will be arranged with the prospective Team Leader for that area. Job requirements and key objectives will be discussed at the meeting.
Step 3: If you are a suitable candidate then the prospective manager will inform Human Resources. Human Resources will check that you meet the eligibility criteria and identify if any further checks need completing. If all checks are satisfactory your current Line Manager and new Line Manager will need to agree a transfer date. Once all the above is completed, you will receive a letter confirming your move and the date you will be transferred.
